Hi, I’m Brittany Wenson, owner and lead planner behind Brittany Wenson Events!

For more than eight years, I’ve built my career in the Detroit events industry, managing venues and bringing weddings, corporate events, and celebrations of all sizes to life. That experience has given me a unique perspective as a planner, I understand not only how to create a beautiful event, but all of the behind-the-scenes details, logistics, timelines, and moving pieces it takes to make one feel effortless.

I’m a proud graduate of Michigan State University’s School of Hospitality Business, and organization, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences have always been at the heart of what I do. My goal with every BWE event is simple: to take the stress off your plate, bring your vision to life, and make sure you’re actually able to enjoy the celebration you’ve spent so much time dreaming about.

Leadership has also been a huge part of my story. Before BWE, I had the opportunity to serve as a Captain for the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders, and today, I’m the Head Coach of the Mercy Varsity Dance Team. Whether I’m leading a team, managing an event day, or keeping a wedding timeline on track, I thrive in the details, stay calm when plans shift, and genuinely love bringing people together.

Outside of events, I’m a wife, mom of two, and dog mom who loves spending time with family, summers up north on the boat, a good workout, and checking out the latest rooftop bar, preferably with a vodka cucumber martini in hand.

BWE was created from my love of celebrations and my belief that planning them should feel exciting, personal, and fun, not overwhelming. I’d love to get to know you, hear what you’re dreaming up, and help make it happen.
